Once works are complete and inspected, payment is made directly to the homeowner or contractor. Grant Amounts. Housing Adaptation Grant: up to €30,000 (max 95% of costs) for disability-related works. Mobility Aids Grant: up to €6,000 for smaller works like stairlifts or ramps. Housing Aid for Older People: up to €8,000 for home repairs or improvements for those over 66.
